The Way You Coach - Our Philosophy About Coaching
You will learn how to coach in a way that people LOVE to be coached. You will provide the perfect blend of support AND challenge. You will share what you know AND challenge them to figure things out for themselves. You  will expand them OUT of their comfort zone by playing bigger AND you will help them get into their comfort zone where they experience flow.
When you set out to become a Coach, you sign on to support people in the pursuit of the things that matter most to them - like family, business, career, health, romance, personal growth etc. ; we call these the games of life. Along the way you help them become the person they have always wanted to become. It takes dedication and courage to Coach, and the rewards can be both financial and priceless.

While there are many qualities that make a great  coach, here are a few that we feel are important that you can use as a quick guide. If you HAVE these qualities OR would love to develop them, then you have the makings of a GREAT Coach!
1) You have been a good player
When you get started as a Coach, the basis of your credibility comes from your own life accomplishments. The KEY is that YOU feel good about what you have accomplished - your definition of success is what matters here.
2) You continue to LOVE the game
You have to LOVE the game or approach you are coaching in order for people to want you as their coach!
3) You LOVE helping other people play better
You get great enjoyment from seeing other people develop, grow and succeed.
4) You have the COURAGE to play BIG in the world
You must be keep playing big, expanding your comfort zone - even if the game changes - in order for you to have solid integrity when you challenge your players to play big.

Coaching is leadership. As a Coach you are a LEADER in the Play BIG - in the world - Revolution. You have to know that what you do every day as a coach plays a part in making the world a better place; EVEN when you are facing challenges in your own life!

The Global Classroom = Super Convenient + Cultural Diversity
All of our classes are delivered via interactive tele-conference. In our super-convenient global classroom you will enjoy interactive learning no matter where you are; no matter what else you have going on in your life, you can get to class. You will learn with colleagues from all around the world. You simply dial the telephone bridge # and pin code from your phone, cell phone or even skype and... Voila! you are in class.
AND our global classroom is truly world-class! You can raise your hand by pressing a key on your phone and the instructor can “see” you. And you will participate in small group break-out sessions and dyads. The instructor can even listen in on your private dyad and give you feedback. Each class session is 2.5 hours but the time flies by because the environment is so dynamic.
Since MOST professional coaching is done over the phone, it makes perfect sense to learn this way. Plus it helps us create a more sustainable world - we like that.

Real Coaching in EVERY class - our Active Learning model
Our “Active Learning Model” follows the path to mastery
Here is one feature of our program that sets it apart from the others. In every class you will observe a real coaching session, conduct a real coaching  session and receive real coaching.
Our active learning model is called DTMOPP which is an acronym for: Desire, Theory, Method, Observe, Practice, Play.
We learn best when our desire is sparked, followed by an intellectual understanding of the theory and a practical explanation of the method. Then you observe a real coaching session with a real client, followed by an opportunity to practice in a safe space where your instructor can observe you and offer feedback. Then you go into your REAL life and PLAY the game where you earn points for completing exercises and conducting coaching sessions. In class you will coach with the same partner for 6 or 12 weeks so you experience ongoing coaching just like you will do with your players.
Active participation is the key to success at CV. It is THE BEST way to learn!

Our community game system - The Spirit of Play lives on
In every class you will experience the power of play with purpose. In between each class session, you will engage in a game with your classmates that brings your coaching practice to life. You and your team mates will earn points as you complete exercises, take actions and get results related to what you are learning in class.
Every student has a player profile so you can see the faces and explore interesting facts about your colleagues. You can see the complete class scoreboard, read what your colleagues are doing and learning and share your experiences as well through words and pictures.
You can use our “Coach Connect” features to connect with your fellow students by CV Chat or CV Mail to ask questions or set up study groups. Playing and sharing your experiences in a public forum adds a powerful dimension of accountability and camaraderie! The games are challenging and fun. Along the way you really learn how to coach!
Coach by Phone - The cornerstone of your lifestyle business opportunity
You will learn how to “Coach by Phone”; this is how over 95% of all coachin g is delivered. It is a unique and powerful skill that will empower you to coach in global communities, create a lifestyle that is perfect for you, set up shop in beautiful locations, thrive in business while staying close at home for your family AND much more. You can, of course, coach face to face with what we will teach you. AND coaching by phone does NOT mean that you stay home in your pj’s every day! You will need to get out in your local community as well. The key point is that coaching by phone literally opens up a WORLD of possibility for you.
Logistics - When our classes are conducted
Class times
Each class is 2.5 hours in length.
The classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
You can choose the time slot that serves you best:
2 PM – 4:30 PM ET or
8 PM – 10:30 PM ET
With of our amazing telephone bridge system you can call in from a cell phone or dial in via skype.
So if you need to run out of your office just before class, or drive your children to soccer practice and jump into class from your cell phone in the car, you can do it. (as long as you are using a headset while driving! ;-)
We offer 3 full semesters each year.
The program is designed so that you can complete the core curriculum in 3 semesters by taking 2 classes per week.
TOTAL Flexibility: You can, of course, take only one class per week and complete the curriculum in what ever time frame suits you best.
The three semesters take place:
from January -> March || from April -> June || from late September -> early December
Summer Session
We often offer a program or two in the summer from July -> August when we have demand for a certain program or a rush of new students in late spring. We will alert you about these summer session opportunities via e-mail.
We have four types of classes in our core curriculum
Methods classes, Skills classes, Business Academy classes, Coaching Practicum
They are organized as follows:
Tuesday- 12 Week Methods classes:
Wednesday – 6 Week Skills classes:
Followed by 6 week Business Academy classes:
The Coaching Practicum
Each is 5 hours in length - you coach a colleague and receive a score and written feedback from a certified instructor. You are also coached one session and observe 3 sessions. Each coaching + feedback takes about an hour.
They are conducted on Fridays and Saturdays.
Typically from 12 PM ET - 5 PM ET
In a typical month we will offer 1 Friday Practicum and 1 Saturday Practicum.
You must complete 6 Practicum in order to graduate.
You will need to be available for the full 5 hours and it is best to be well rested because it is VERY intense. Do NOT worry about being bored during the 5 hour practicum, it is often a life-changing experience.
A few notes:
The Methods and Skills classes and Practicum are required for graduation and certification.
The Business Academy classes are optional.

I know it really bugs me when I am researching a program and it takes forever - or sometimes it is even impossible - to find out how much it really costs before I invest too much time!
So, we are not going to do that to you. Here are all of he relevant numbers and I can assure you that our program is among the most affordable ICF accredited programs AND still the most comprehensive and innovative.

Price $349 / month; 4 payments for a total investment of $1,396

Includes Level 2 & 3 curriculum + Bonus programs + 2 Practicum

The total for the Step By Step Option (if you do all of the steps):

This is a very affordable way to start your coaching career! If you are NOT SURE about the certification OR you don't want to commit to the whole thing up front then this will be an excellent option for you. You can add steps 2 and 3 whenever you are ready.
Each stage has a Pay Up Front option which you can use rather than the payment plan to save a few $. If you end up doing the whole thing, it will cost you a little more than if you went for the “Bold Commitment” option.
In the step by step option, each step is a requirement for the next step. In other words, you can't purchase step 2 without step 1.

ICF Accreditation - Earn your Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Credential
Our program - The Center for Coaching Mastery - is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) Which means that our program has reached the highest standard for  professional coach training available in the world today. This means that you can earn the global standard certification - Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by completing our program and meeting the ICF “coaching hours” requirements.
The ICF was founded in 1995 by Thomas Leonard - who also created CoachVille in 2001 - and is recognized as the global leader in professional coaching certification.
Most people who pursue a career in coaching recognize that professional certification is important.

Business Academy - Business is a game you can win!
Our Business Academy for Coaches is integrated into the core curriculum because mastering the “game of business” is essential to your success as a coach (even if you coach as an employee within an organization). We show you how to play and WIN the game of business in a way that is engaging and fun. 
You will learn how to share what YOU have learned in life in a way that truly makes a difference to maximize your gift to the world. You will discover how to use your own life - both your successes AND failures - as a source of credibility. You will learn how to talk about what you do as a coach in a way that inspires others to want to play big in the world.
You will learn how to attract and recruit just the right people to your team of BIG Players (also known as clients) in a methodical, repeatable way.
You will learn how to be a leader in your community – big or small; geographical or virtual - because coaches ARE leaders in the PLAY BIG REVOLUTION

All of our live programs include immediate access to the self-study version of the class. This way you will have immediate and permanent access to the  recordings, learning guides and supplemental materials. No matter when your teleclass starts, you can get started right away. Load the most recent recordings on your mp3 player and away you go!
Lifetime learning
As a student in our school you are welcome back to class any time; for as long as we are around. (and that will probably be for a very long time!) If a few years from now you would like a refresher class, you are welcome - at NO ADDITIONAL cost.
While you are in class with us you will often have classmates who are are taking a class for the 2nd or 3rd time because the class experience is so rich and stimulating.
AND we refresh our classes on a regular basis. So when YOU come back in a few years, there will be LOTS of new concepts to explore.

Level 2 is a deep exploration in what it really takes to play and win the meaningful games of our lives - we call this body of work Super Conductivity Coaching. You will learn how to use inner awareness techniques to guide your player into the flow state where the player and the game are one and results occur with ease. Sounds good! . You will also learn and demonstrate the 15 Certified Coach Proficiencies by Thomas Leonard which are the basis of the CoachVille Certification.

Level 3 - The Pursuit of Personal Evolution Coaching
Level 3 is a highly advanced exploration of Personal Environments coaching. You will learn how to identify environmental patterns each of the 9 Environments of YOU designed by Thomas Leonard and put them into language. By shifting pattern language you change the world. By changing your players world you create environments for sustainable success.
The classes in level 3:
- Personal Environments Method Coaching - A powerful Tool for Personal Evolution
- Advanced Communication for Coaches
- Be Known as the Coach (Business Academy Level 3)
- 1 or 2 Practicum (each practicum is 5 hours)
Level 4: The Certification Process
In level 4 you earn the CV Certified Coach Designation and take a large step toward a certification with the International Coach Federation (ICF). The Certification process consists of the following :
- Complete your practicum requirements. You need to participate in a total of 6 before you begin the certification process
- Provide two 30 minutes recordings with an actual coaching session (using our easy recording system)
- We hire two ICF certified coaches to listen to the sessions and provide a score card with written feedback
You must receive a score of 4.5 out of 9 on Core Competencies AND 60 out of 75 on Proficiences in order to achieve certification
- You must provide letters of recommendation from 10 coaching clients

A brief history...
Thomas Leonard - the founding father of the Coaching Industry - founded CoachVille in 2001 with the mission to improve the quality of coaching worldwide. 
In 2002 we launched our first Coach Training program - the Graduate School of Coaching - with a few BIG ideas:
1) That anyone with the right personal character and strong desire could become an effective Coach very quickly.
2) To create the most cutting edge curriculum and learning environment.
3) To create a school that would evolve as fast as the coaching industry - which was pretty FAST!
